Café @ Trinity
Next Café-style Service: Is currently suspended and replaced with Open Church
Café is a different kind of church service that happens at Trinity once every other month.
Ideal for those who don't normally “do” church, this worship is designed so that it's easy for anyone to take part in, and to feel at home. Café is not like a normal church service, but an opportunity for conversation and refreshments, just a few songs which you’re welcome to join in, or not, if you prefer, and much more.
At Café you'll find tea, proper coffee and croissants, quality discussion with the weekend papers, and activities suitable for all ages.
If church is not something that you’re used to, it's an ideal opportunity to discover what we’re about. Join us, bring the whole family — you are very welcome!
Café is put together by a skilled team of volunteers and led by one of our congregation.
Our open church services are led by the duty elder and another member of the Church family, however it is an open service and all gathered are asked if they have a Bible reading, a hymn or song, poem, reflection, a prayer or something to share with the group gathered there. If you just wish to sit and listen, pray this is also an option. Please see our church calendar for times of these services.
If you would be interested in being part of the small team that prepares Café, let us know. No experience is necessary, just an open mind and a willingness to be creative and to throw ideas around (you don’t have to do anything in the worship itself – unless you want to!).
