Premises

Following the decision to sell the old Methodist Church premises (see Our History) and to refurbish the United Reformed Church premises, the new buildings were re-dedicated in a special service on 19 November 2000. The newer and more comfortable facilities are very popular for the Pre-School children and staff and for several hirers not just from Knebworth and also Trinity itself are happy to meet in the Church, the Vestry and the halls.

Children's parties (below senior School age) in the Large Hall are charged at £ 44.

Children's parties at senior school age under Adult supervision are charged at the one off community rate as above.

Trinity has very up-to-date kitchen faciliities with 3 hatches, serving various parts of the building. There is an electric urn, which provides boiling water for refreshments, and a large and smaller electric oven with grill. Altogether, there are 9 gas hob rings + a microwave. the workstop space is excellent, with a fridge and two large sinks/ The kitchen is well lit and has plenty of storage space, containing cutlery and crockery.

Conditions to note

Hires on Sunday are restricted to 13.00 - 17.00
Children in any part who are of Senior School age must be under adult supervision
The Church premises cannot be hired during Pre-School terms (09.00 - 15.30) Mon-Thu and (09.00 - 13.00 on Fridays
Special circumstances are subject to negotiation
Special permission for funerals and their reception held at Trinity are subject to consultation with the Minister
Each hirer has to fill in a booking form to be returned prior to the date of hiring.
The hirer will return the booking form, together with a set deposit, if applicable.
At the same time the hirer is issued with a set of condition of hire forms.
Trinity must comply with the Licensing laws and Church Policy that wine may only be served with celebration meals (e.g. where no tickets have been sold for the event)
No self service arrangements at any time.
Beer and spirits are not allowed on the premises.
